ABS塑胶原料的特点：
1、综合性能较好、冲击强度较高、化学稳定性、电性能良好。
2、与有机玻璃的熔接性良好、制成双色塑件、且可表面镀铬、喷漆处理。
3、有高抗冲、高耐热、阻燃、增强、透明等级别。
4、流动性比HIPS差一点、比PMMA、PC塑胶原料等好、柔韧性好。5、ABS塑料具有优良的综合性能，有极好的冲击强度、尺寸稳定性好、电性能、耐磨性、抗化学药品性、染色性，成型加工和机械加工较好。6、ABS树脂耐水、无机盐、碱和酸类，不溶于大部分醇类和烃类溶剂，而容易溶于醛、酮、酯和某些氯代烃中。
台化ABS樹脂(丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚合物，TAIRILAC® ABS Resin），台灣有新港及麥寮兩個廠區生產，合計年產能共達41萬噸。原料則有母公司台塑企業六輕為後盾，故能夠在品質及產品供應上確保穩定，價格亦具競爭力。台化ABS樹脂(TAIRILAC® ）產品多樣化，除了一般級、押出級到特殊用途的高黑亮、高流動、耐熱級、耐燃級、透明級、電鍍級等，能符合各方面的需求。本廠生產設備採嚴格環保標準，且生產技術成熟穩定，無污染環境之疑慮。廢氣經高溫燃燒，熱量予以回收。
Taihua ABS resin (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, TAIRILAC® ABS Resin) is produced in two factories in Xingang and Mailiao in Taiwan, with a total annual production capacity of 410,000 tons. The raw materials are backed by the parent company Formosa Plastics Corporation Liuqing, so it can ensure stable quality and product supply, and the price is also competitive. Taihua ABS resin (TAIRILAC®) has diversified products, in addition to general grade, extrusion grade to special purpose high black brightness, high flow, heat resistance, flame resistance, transparency, electroplating, etc., it can meet the needs of all aspects. Our production equipment adopts strict environmental protection standards, and the production technology is mature and stable, and there is no doubt about environmental pollution. The exhaust gas is burned at high temperature and the heat is recovered.
